Framed on the wall is a picture that I drew with the phrase “When I grow up I want to be a doctor so I can help people”. Now, with experience, I realize that there is much more that lies behind the simple phrase from my elementary school dream. I want to share my excitement and my belief in the power of a person’s capacity to be and remain healthy when given the right tools. Medicine, traditional and modern, must be individualized and mind, body and spirit must be balanced. We each have the capability to realize our potentials - my goal is to be a guide with the knowledge and tools that I have as a naturopathic physician.
I graduated from CCNM in 2002 as a Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine. Prior to that I completed my undergraduate studies at McGill University. The funny thing is that all of this schooling leading me on the path to medicine began in elementary school when a teacher asked me to draw “What do you want to be when you grow up?”.
With patience and persistence, dreams really do come true.
I am very grateful for my life. Besides my busy practice of naturopathic medicine, what fills my heart and days are my family, children, friends, daily exercise and fresh ocean air. As a mom and doctor, I strive to educate families how to approach their medical care from an individualized healthcare model.

I live locally here in West Vancouver. I love being able to walk to work every day either by seawall or through the lovely roads of West Vancouver. I have a real thirst for knowledge and enjoy learning more about naturopathic medicine every day. I have two children with whom I love spending my free time on the weekends. When I am not with them, I can be found with my nose in a good book.
